A website that gets traffic but no leads almost always has one of seven problems: no one is actually visiting, the wrong people are visiting, the page is slow, the offer is unclear, there is no obvious next step, the form asks too much, or enquiries are arriving and being missed. Diagnose in that order.
1. There is no traffic
Check analytics. If sessions are in the low tens per week, the problem is visibility, not the page. You need SEO or ads before anything else matters.
2. The wrong visitors
High traffic, high bounce, short sessions from unrelated searches. The page ranks or advertises for terms that do not match what you sell.
3. It loads too slowly
On a mid-range phone on mobile data, if the page takes more than about three seconds, a large share of visitors leave before seeing it. Test on a real phone, not your desktop.
4. The offer is not clear in five seconds
A visitor should know what you do, who for, and where, without scrolling. Vague slogans lose people.
5. No clear next step
One primary action per page — call, book, or submit a form. Five equal buttons is the same as none.
6. The form is too long
Every extra field costs completions. Name, contact, and one line of context is usually enough to start.
7. Leads arrive but are missed
Test your own form. Check spam folders, notification settings, and whether anyone owns follow-up. Enquiries answered within an hour convert far better than next-day replies.
Siren Web Studio wires analytics and lead capture into every build so these are visible, not guesswork. See how.
